My Clickbank Business Not As Unique As It Sounds

Several of the heavy hitters in the Internet marketing world have been promoting a product called “My Clickbank Business” the last couple of days. I must say my first impression was that this was something rather interesting, and I am not talking merely about the fact that they opted to primarily have a video instead of a traditional sales letter.

On closer inspection however, My Clickbank Business isn’t as unique and original as it may sound. They might as well have called it PLR 2.0, or something along those lines.

I first (mistakenly) believed that everybody who bought one of the $500 My Clickbank Business packages, would really be the only one to actually get that specific product to promote – now that would have been really cool! But that is of course not the case, as they wouldn’t even have made their money back by selling each package to only one person at that price.

So in the end, My Clickbank Business is essentially just another Private Label Rights deal. They have indeed thrown in the kitchen sink as far as features goes, but that is also reflected in the price tag – which is at least ten times what you commonly see in “ordinary” PLR products.

As I haven’t seen any of the actual products they offer I can’t say anything about the quality. But I can think of at least one problem with the scenario the buyers of My Clickbank Business will find themselves in: Those who will really make a killing selling these packages are likely the online marketing tycoons that already have huge incomes and equally huge resources.

I’m not saying that a person starting from scratch can’t make any money from taking one of these deals, but I am afraid that they will have to be satisfied with the crumbs that are left once the big boys have eaten – so to speak.

I would actually love to be wrong on the above point. But at least it seems that buyers of this new breed of “super PLR” will still have to deal with making their version of the product somehow more unique and desirable than their competitors.

Wonder how long before someone is selling their package for $1 on Ebay? (only kidding!) ;-)

Wait – there’s more!

Out of the “amazing” bonuses they offer I have actually given Google Ambush a brief test run. And here I can only say one thing: It doesn’t really add any value at all – it was one of the biggest disappointments of the year for me.

The Google Ambush sales letter would have you believe that it is a cookie cutter solution to making money with Adwords and Clickbank. But in reality it offers little more than what you can do with the free Google Adwords keyword tool and some common sense.

It does feature a simple editor for creating simple landing pages as well as hosting and tracking them, but at the monthly price asked it is a very expensive solution indeed.

If you buy a My Clickbank Business package you will of course be getting it for free, but if you are really interested in those kind of features (Clickbank marketplace analysis, Adwords keyword “spying” etc.) I would recommend that you look into something like Brad Callen’s Affiliate Elite instead. Or you may want to wait for the upcoming Keyword Elite 2.0 that seems to have many new interesting features up its sleeve as well.
